Cardio is a core part of the workout experience and we have the equipment to fit the bill. Our Treadmills and Elliptical Trainers come from Precor and are superior in function, quality, and aesthetics. We also offer Nautilus Stairmasters, Schwinn Airdyne Bikes, and Concept 2 Rowers.
Alter Ego Fitness has two free weight rooms loaded with what we feel is the best equipment available on the market today. The two rooms house our dumbbells, cable equipment and plate loaded equipment. Out multi-room layout creates a different environment in each of our rooms, which customers have expressed helps break the monotony of working out. This enhances motivation and promotes effective workouts. Precor equipment is extraordinarily smooth, extremely durable and absolutely beautiful. Customers have repeatedly expressed their excitement and satisfaction with our decision to equip our facility with Precor.
Known for innovative design with injury prevention in mind, Med Ex strength equipment is ideal for people of all fitness levels. Med Ex is very easy to use and while many beginners like it because of this, those at advanced levels of fitness prefer it for its emphasis on bio-mechanics.
The details really do matter. While you exercise, you can watch Ellen, the "game," catch up on the news or any other programming from over 200 channels on one of our five flat screen plasmas. We even have Hi-Def channels so you can see a crisp picture, and each Precor Cardio machine is equipped with Cardio Theatre headphone outlets so you can listen to any of the five televisions that you choose.
We pride ourselves on our specializations. Our studio room is designed to give us a place to do just that. We offer private Pilates, Yoga, Abs n' Glutes, Zumba, Stretching, Range of Motion, Corporate Tone-Up, and Tai Chi classes every week for our members at no extra cost. These classes will help you center your mind and control your body, while burning calories, toning your muscles and strengthening your core.
