Announcement to the Members

RE: Change of Ownership

Alter Ego Fitness in Downtown Gainesville is proud to announce new ownership and management! Kyle Gold, a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and Steven Gold, a graduate of the University of Florida Colleges of Law and Public Health are the new owners of the LLC that purchased the assets of Alter Ego Fitness Downtown. Both owners were Division I collegiate athletes and have a passion for training and fitness. Kyle will be the full time on site manager. Kyle has enjoyed talking to many of the members already and looks forward to meeting everyone in the coming weeks!

For now, the name “Alter Ego Fitness” will be kept and the new owners are interested in hearing your ideas for improvement of the club and facilities. The trainers and staff are going through some changes, but the majority of the trainers and staff will remain intact. Scotti will remain the Head of Personal Training and assume more administrative responsibilities, while Jimmie has officially joined the training staff at the highest level, a Senior Trainer. Julia, Stephanie, Mike, Kayla, and Ray remain committed to their client’s fitness goals.
The new owners already have many plans in the works, all of which should be positive in transforming the current facility into a high end boutique gym experience with the best equipment, trainers, group classes, premium classes and services available. Alter Ego Fitness is ready to grow alongside with Downtown Gainesville.
